Amy Compton
Muscle Mechanic : A Professional Massage Therapist

About Me

My name is Amy Compton. After leaving the Trauma (unit) at Erlanger  Hospital in 2011, I combined my interest of health and fitness to venture out in muscle therapy where I trained at Chattanooga State Technical College, I was honored to study under professor Micheal Matthews, and  in 2012 graduated with Massage Therapy. Growing up, my dad was a Chiropractor, so  learning about muscles and bones was an everyday thing for me. So! Massage Therapy was an easy career choice! My massage therapy practice is to customize a whole-body boost, getting clients back to being  (or able to be) active in their every-day life.

I am an active member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA), and hold a certificate in Contemporary Cupping Methods by International Cupping Therapy Association, I hold licenses in the state of Tennessee and Georgia as a Massage Therapist.

I also hold several certificates for specialized massage modalities. Typically I practice deep tissue, sports, chronic pain-medical, cupping,  and myofaical, but  I am also trained in and enjoy  Swedish, pregnancy, aromatherapy, ayurvedic, relaxation, and Thai (if not listed, please ask for a massage you are looking for).

After our first "Meet" and "Greet", I will customize for you a massage program that caters to  your specific needs. We will also set goals for future appointments, so that you can be more active and enjoy life to the fullest.

Thank you, for taking the time to look into my methods and investing in your health, I look forward in working with you.
